„Sherlock Groans“ entfesselt die kreative Energie der Schülerinnen und Schüler

Die Schüler und Schülerinnen der 1m Klasse haben ihre kreativen Säfte fließen lassen, als sie im Englischunterricht zum ersten Mal eigene Detektivgeschichten schrieben. Unter dem Motto „Sherlock Groans – the world’s best detective“ wurden die Kinder dazu ermutigt, ihre Fantasie spielen zu lassen und gemeinsam mit ihren Klassenkameraden Geschichten zu entwerfen.

In Zweier-Teams tüftelten sie an spannenden Handlungen und fügten sogar die direkte Rede geschickt in ihre Geschichten ein. Die Verwendung unterschiedlicher Satzanfänge half dabei, die Texte lebhafter wirken zu lassen.

Doch damit nicht genug: Neben ihren tollen Erzählungen gestalteten die Kinder auch Bilder, die ihre Geschichten zum Leben erweckten. Von detaillierten Zeichnungen bis hin zu Porträts ihrer Hauptfiguren – die Kreativität der Schüler und Schülerinnen kannte keine Grenzen.

Die Schüler und Schülerinnen haben nicht nur ihre sprachlichen Fähigkeiten verbessert, sondern auch wichtige kreative und soziale Kompetenzen entwickelt. Durch die Zusammenarbeit und den Austausch mit ihren Mitschülern konnten sie außerdem ihre Geschichten verbessern und voneinander lernen und wachsen.


The telephone rings. He picks up the phone. Groans says, “Hello, I’m Sherlock, the world’s best detective.” Ms. Miller says, “Please help me, I can’t find my drum!” Groans leaves his office. He goes to the park and he climbs up a tree. The branch breaks and Sherlock Groans falls out of the tree. He goes to the river. Sherlock Groans looks for the island. He jumps into the river and swims to the island. He finds the drum in the bushes. Sherlock Groans calls Mr. Miller and says, “I’ve got your drum.”


Groans leaves the office. “Find the drum, find the drum”, he thinks. Sherlock Groans goes to the river. He looks for the drum. Then he jumps into the river. “Why isn’t the drum in the river? Perhaps it is in the woods”, says Sherlock Groans. Groans goes to the woods and he bumps into a tree. He looks in the bush and he finds the drum. Sherlock Groans is the world’s best detective.


Sherlock Groans is at the office. Sherlock Groans gets a phone call, “Hi, here is Lady Gaga and I can’t find my drum!” “No problem Lady Gaga, I can help you”, says Groans. Sherlock leaves his office. First he goes to the park and looks for the drum, but he bumps into a tree. Then he goes to the woods and looks for the drum. He climbs a tree and sits in it. He sees a squirrel, it scares him and he falls out of the tree. Now he goes to the river and looks for the drum, but he finds a little island with the drum on it. “Finally”, he thinks. He jumps into the river and swims to the island. He carries the drum back to his office and phones Lady Gaga, “Hi, Lady Gaga. I could find your drum.” “Oh! Thanks Sherlock Groans, you’re the world’s best detective”, says Lady Gaga.


Sherlock Groans is at the office. The telephone rings. It is Mr. James. He says, “Hello, Sherlock Groans. Please, help me. I can’t find my drum.” Sherlock says, “Don’t worry Mr. James, I can find your drum.” Then he leaves his office and looks for it. First Groans goes to the woods. Then he walks into the forest and looks for the drum but he can’t see it. Then Sherlock Groans walks back and he bumps into a tree. And then he goes to the park. In the park he sees a pretty bird and follows it. The bird flies to a river. At the river Sherlock sees an island. Oh no! Groans’ hat falls into the river. He jumps into the river and follows his hat to the island. On the island he sees a red thing. He asks, “What is that?” Oh, it’s the drum. He calls Mr. James, “I have got your drum!”

The telephone rings. “Hello, Sherlock Groans, the world’s best detective. What can I do?”, Sherlock Groans says. Mr Groans answers,” Please, help me. I can’t find my drum!” Sherlock Groans leaves the office. He goes to the river. The detective jumps into the river and swims to the island and finds the drum in a bush. He brings the drum to Mr Grey. Mr Grey is very happy. Sherlock Groans goes to his office.

Groans leaves his office. He looks for the drum. First Sherlock goes to the park. He bumps into a tree. Sherlock climbs up a tree. And then his hat falls out of the tree. Then he climbs down the tree. Sherlock Groans runs after his hat. He finds the drum. Then Groans jumps into the river. Sherlock Groans phones Mr Miller. “I’m Sherlock Groans. I have got your drum.” “Perfect,” Mr Miller says.

Sherlock Groans is in his office. Lady Grey phones Sherlock Groans. She says,” I can’t find my drum.” Sherlock Groans leaves his office. First he goes to the river. He looks for the drum. He jumps into the river and swims to the island. He climbs out of the river. Then he takes the drum. And then he phones Lady Grey. He says,” I have got your drum, give me ten minutes.

Ten minutes later. Finally, Sherlock Groans gives Lady Grey her drum.


In the morning Sherlock looked for his drum. The detective left his office. In the park Groans went to a tree and climbed up the tree. He said, “It isn’t here.” The man ran. Suddenly he bumped into a tree. His head hurt. Then he looked near the river. The detective jumped into the river. “The drum, the drum!”, he shouted. He saw the drum and took it home. At the end he was very happy.


In the morning Sherlock looked for the missing drum. He looked for it in his office but he couldn’t find it so he left his office and went to the park to look for it. He climbed a tree but couldn’t find it. He said, “It isn’t here.” Suddenly he slipped and fell out of the tree. After 20 minutes he looked for it in the city and bumped into a building. He was walking home. He went past the river, then he found it. He jumped into the river to get his drum. At the end he was happy and played with it.
